Banknote 10 Pesetas - 1935 series B
Banco de España 10 Pesetas, Series B, issued in 1935. This attractive Spanish silver certificate features an allegorical female portrait on the obverse, ornate engraved borders, signatures of the Governor, Controller and Cashier, and serial number B2,236,332. The note was printed by Bradbury Wilkinson & Co., Ltd., England.
- Denomination: 10 Pesetas
- Issue: 1935
- Series: B
- Type: Certificado de Plata / Silver Certificate
- Reverse: Elaborate blue-black guilloche design with the denomination “10 Pesetas”
The note displays clear evidence of circulation, including folds and creasing, age-related toning, handling wear to the margins and corners, and minor staining/discolouration. Despite these imperfections, the principal design and inscriptions remain clearly legible, making it an appealing addition to collections of Spanish Republican-era currency, historic banknotes or engraved paper money.
