Cookie policy

Which cookies Bidexia sets, what each one is for, and how to change your mind.

This page is a placeholder. The final wording is being prepared and will replace this text before launch.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep you signed in, hold the contents of your cart and remember whether you are browsing in English or Spanish. They are set for everyone, without asking, because the site cannot function without them — which is the narrow exemption LSSI art. 22.2 allows.

They are first-party, and none of them is used to profile you or shared with anyone.

Optional analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which lots get viewed and where visitors arrive from. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by our property ID, both of which expire two years after your last visit.

These are set only if you accept them. Until you do, the Google tag runs in consent-denied mode: it writes nothing to your device and sends no identifier that could single you out.

Refusing has no effect on anything you can do here. You can browse, bid, buy and receive every email exactly as before.

Advertising cookies

We do not currently set any. If that changes we will ask you separately, rather than treating your answer about analytics as covering advertising too.

Changing your answer

Use the cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. It reopens the same choice, and takes effect immediately.

Your answer is stored in a cookie called bidexia_consent and is remembered for twelve months, after which we will ask again.

Who the recipients are

Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer it outside the EEA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you refuse analytics cookies, no such transfer happens.
